Amélie Gauthier
Former Researcher
Amélie Gauthier has an MA in International Cooperation and Project Management from the Ortega and Gasset Institute in Madrid and a BA in International Business and Finance from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Montreal.
Prior to joining FRIDE, Amélie worked as a political analyst for the Canadian Embassy in Madrid (2005-2006), where she had previously worked in the commercial department (2001-2002).
From 2003 to 2004, she worked at Services Financiers Penson Canada, where she was responsible for the foreign currency market.
She has also worked for the Hispanic-Canadian International Cooperation programme at the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (2000-2001), and has been research assistant at HEC, Montreal (1998–2000).
She was assistant researcher for the book Perspectives from the Front Lines by George E. Irani, Vamik D. Volkan, Judy Carter. (2006).
